On August 13, 2026, QCC hosted a Honey Tasting at the Quonochontaug Yacht Club with over 80 attendees. Quonnie’s very own bee expert, Dr. Beth Capaldi, Bucknell professor, provided 15 or so assorted honey samples for all to learn about and taste. Several Quonnie beekeepers were also in attendance and provided samples of their honey as well as offering samples of honeycomb and opportunities to try on beekeeping outfits! A great time was had by all!
