It’s that time of year! Earth Day is just around the corner, and we are celebrating it along with the Town of Charlestown on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Once again QCC is organizing Earth Day activities open to all the communities on the Quonnie neck during the hours of 10am-12:30pm, rain or shine.
On Wednesday, May 28th, join Bill McNee and the Quonochontaug Conservation Collaborative (QCC) for a guided bird walk at the Quonochontaug Breachway, where we will be in search of shorebirds, songbirds, raptors and more.
Kate Hardesty from the URI Cooperative Extension will lead a discussion and Q&A on invasive plants found on the Quonnie neck, mitigation strategies, edible invasive plants, and more.
