Kayak Tour of Ninigret Pond

QCC and Salt Ponds Coalition are sponsoring a kayak tour of Ninigret Pond. The trip will focus on ecology, history and folk lore. The event is free, but please sign up in advance HERE.

Please arrive at the Ninigret Refuge/Ninigret Park kayak launch at 8:30am and bring your own equipment (kayak, paddleboard, canoe, paddles, etc). Life jacket required, per Rhode Island law.

Directions to Ninigret Wildlife Refuge: Enter Ninigret Park at GPS: 5 Park Lane, Charlestown, RI. From there, continue to follow signs for the Wildlife Refuge.  Road will dead-end into Wildlife Refuge Parking lot. (Landmarks to pass: Ninigret Park Playground, Frosty Drew Nature Center, and Ninigret Park Dog Park.)
